Haiti Earthquake Appeal

On 12th January 2010, a devastating earthquake struck Haiti, killing an estimated 150,000 people and affecting millions. The school is currently planning an appeal to raise money and help the Haitian people rebuild their lives and communities.

It is now confirmed this will take place on the 19th March. We will shortly be posting further details to explain how you can be involved.

Bangor University Symphony Orchestra

Three AS Music students took the opportunity to attend a rehearsal of the Bangor University Symphony Orchestra on Monday 1st February. The trio had the rare chance to sit in amongst the orchestra during the rehearsal. This was a fantastic learning opportunity for them as they were able to see and hear instruments up close, and get an entirely different perspective on the music from sitting in the audience, which should help both their listening and composing skills.
