Welcome to life at Ysgol John Bright!
We know that moving to a new and bigger school can be difficult, even scary. That’s why we want to help you settle in as quickly as possible.
Over the course of your first year at YJB you will have many new and exciting experiences, and that’s where we come in.
You will be able to share your experiences here as well as seeing a number of our old Year 7’s talking about how they have found life at YJB so far.
This page is just for year 6 students going in to Year 7 and any questions or queries you might have can be answered on here by our team of YJB experts!

it was cool but we did what to do cooking and art but it is ok it was funny i meet lots of new friends tia and olly and lots more thank you john bright for having me

it was really fun on the taster day we did science and got to burn things and saw how in effected the thing we were burning I can’t wait to come to Ysgol John Bright.
